My mission is connecting contemporary makers with architects, interior designers and individuals by placing original handmade objects into interior and exterior spaces. The range is from lighting, furniture and other functional pieces to sculptural and beautiful objects with details that delight and enrich the space.
I will be placing the art from these makers that have translated design ideas to an executed visual form in glass, ceramic, wood, iron and textiles. These artists have a knowledge and comprehension of the materials and its potential. The bountiful imaginations, proficiency and control over the composition can change any clients life to a poetic surprise. For the functional pieces I would like to encourage use because it is beautiful and in spite of the fact it is beautiful.
Each maker has their own discipline and work ethic as their guiding principles along with mental and physical perseverance. The inspiration, mission statements and biography of each artist is on this website so that you can elect to educate yourself before the addition to your collection or commercial space. The photos shown with each artist are only representative of the range of style, harmony in construction and technique. I have many other images for you to explore of their work or a commission may best suit the space. Bringing an artist into the design project during initial planning allows for an early nexus of design and art. This website list of individuals is also not inclusive of all of the artists I am working with.
I am interested in crafts because I am interested in makers and their ability to use the labor of the skilled hand to transform materials. By presenting this work to art professionals and collectors, I hope to help broaden the options of an audience and remind others how they can own unique masterful pieces. I am interested in talking to architects, interior designers and collectors to help broaden the options of an audience and remind others how they can own unique masterful pieces of virtuoso craftsmanship.
Art in our public and private spaces helps us not be satisfied with the ordinary but strive for the remarkable. Professional designers are the ultimate patrons of leaving the creative footprint of this authentic workmanship of high quality.
